UPDATE: House Under Renovation Goes Up In Flames

Fire officials say a house fire on Victoria Ave. in Windsor started in the basement and caused $175,000 damage.

The fire started just after midnight at 1518 Victoria Ave., just north of Shepherd St. W.

The house was under renovation at the time and no one was home.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services says nobody was hurt.

The fire is blamed on accidental electrical failure.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
