Santa Claus Parade Promises To Be Bigger

If you missed the recent Winterfest parade, or you just want to see Santa Claus again, the 49th Annual Windsor Santa Claus Parade is this weekend.

This year's parade starts at 6pm on Saturday, December 2 on Riverside Dr. W just west of Bridge Ave. and continues westward to Brock St. in Sandwich Towne.

So far the forecast calls for clouds and a low around the freezing mark.

The 49th edition boasts new bands from Michigan, local bands, and floats.

Also on Saturday, Lakeshore is holding its Santa Claus Parade at 10am along Lakeshore Blvd. W. It starts at Dwight Ave.

Kingsville is holding its parade on Friday, December 8 at 7pm on Spruce St., while Essex will hold its celebration on Saturday, December 9. The parade in Essex starts at 6:30pm at Talbot St. S and Fairview Ave. and travels northbound to Maidstone Ave.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
