Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Downtown Windsor Crash

One person is in hospital after a crash in downtown Windsor.

Windsor Police tell BlackburnNewsWindsor.com that the incident took place shortly before 2pm Friday at Goyeau Ave and Elliott St E.

A pedestrian was struck on Goyeau. Police confirm that the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

There is no current word on the victim's condition.

Goyeau and Elliott St E was closed for several hours so investigators can complete their work. The area was reopened around 7:30pm.
