Lakeshore Woman Charged In RIDE Program

A Lakeshore woman is facing impaired driving charges after going through a RIDE program December 29, 2017.

The OPP were on Riverside Dr. in Tecumseh when the woman was stopped. She registered a "fail" on the Approved Screening Device and was arrested.

The 56-year-old is charged with driving a car while over the legal blood alcohol limit.

Her license was suspended and the vehicle impounded.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
