Three People Hospitalized For Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Three people have been taken to hospital after high levels of carbon monoxide were detected at a Leamington greenhouse.

The Leamington fire department says on Wednesday around 2pm, emergency crews responded to the greenhouse on Road 3, west of Hodgins St.

Three people were taken to a local hospital to be treated for symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. Their conditions are not currently known.

The Ministry of Labour and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority have been contacted and will be conducting an investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
