OPP Search For Driver After Crash

The Ontario Provincial Police is looking for the driver of a vehicle that caused an accident but did not stop.

The crash was on Monday night, around 10:20pm, at the corner of Hwy. 3 and Cabana Rd. in Windsor.

Police say the vehicle went through a red light and a northbound vehicle on Hwy. 3 had to swerve to avoid it. Instead, it hit a hydro pole, knocking it down.

Police are looking for a black sedan or hatchback that fled eastbound on Cabana Rd.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the hydro pole suffered minor injuries.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
