Edge Clinch Win Over Express 105-103

The Windsor Express fell 105-103 to the St. John's Edge in the final seconds of a close game on Wednesday.

The Express trailed the Edge 27-24 at the end of the first quarter and remained three points behind as the game entered halftime.

The Express couldn't catch a break in the third frame, and St. John's remained in the lead 77-68. However, Windsor battled back in the fourth to take the lead and were up 98-96 with just under two minutes left in the game.  The Edge tied things up at 100-100 with under a minute left and were able to retake the lead to win by two points.

Shaquille Keith was the top scorer for Windsor with a game-high 23 points and five rebounds. Logan Stutz also put up 21 points and ten rebounds.

The Express will return to Windsor on Friday to battle the Moncton Magic at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
