Windsor Man Charged After Drug Raid

A Windsor man is facing numerous charges following a Wednesday night drug raid.

Windsor Police's Drug and Guns Unit (DIGS) appeared at a home on Langlois Ave near Cataraqui St. to execute a warrant on a suspected drug trafficking operation.

Officers seized 0.2 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, three 90 mL bottles of suspected methadone, two pellet guns, a nunchaku instrument and a butterfly knife.

Kevin Lauzon, 34, was arrested without incident at the scene. He has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, eight counts of breach of recognizance and 16 counts of breach of a prohibition order.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
