Sting Crush Spitfires 6-1

The Windsor Spitfires dropped a hard 6-1 decision to the Sarnia Sting on Friday.

Windsor kicked the game off with Luke Boka scoring 6:52 into the first period, but the Sting took a 2-1 lead by scoring two of their own before the second.

The Sting kept Windsor at bay to score two unanswered goals in the second, and another two in the third to win with a five goals advantage.

Spitfires goaltender Lucas Patton made 30 saves out of 36 shots on net.

The Spitfires return home on Sunday to face off against the Saginaw Spirit at 2:05pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
