Woman Allegedly Uses Vehicle As A Weapon In Assault

Police in Windsor have released a photo of a vehicle they believe was used as a weapon in an assault last November.

Officers were dispatched to Windsor Regional Hospital on November 24 after a woman was struck by a vehicle after an altercation with another woman.

She was at a business on Howard Ave. between Eugenie St. and MacDougall Ave. around 3am that morning when she got into a fight with the suspect who was accompanied by a man.

Earlier that morning the three were at another business on Tecumseh Rd. E and Ford Blvd.

The suspect is described as white, in her mid-20s, with long dark brown hair. She was 5'10" or 5'11" and 160 lbs.

The vehicle involved in the assault is a dark SUV with blacked out rims, possibly a Ford Escape.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
