Person Injured in Amherstburg Crash

A person is being treated following a collision in Amherstburg.

Amherstburg Fire says it happened shortly after 5:30pm Sunday on North Townline Rd between Broderick Rd and Howard Ave in McGregor. Few details have been disclosed but a single vehicle was involved.

One person had to be extricated from the vehicle, according to Amherstburg Fire. That person was placed in the care of EMS but it is not known how serious any injuries are.

Amherstburg Fire says the road is closed at this time so authorities can complete their investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
