Shooting A Result Of Family Dispute

Windsor police have charged 32-year-old Kyle McIntyre with attempted murder after he allegedly shot a family member and bit his nose.

Police were called to Aubin Rd. Saturday shorty after midnight for a shooting. When police arrived two men were still fighting.

After separating them, police discovered a 49-year-old man had been shot in the leg and he had injuries on his nose from a bite. He was taken to hospital and treated for his non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested on scene without incident and police do not believe there was anyone else involved.

They say the incident stemmed from an argument that took place earlier in the day.

In addition to attempted murder, McIntyre is facing charges of aggravated assault, uttering a death threat, break and enter, and firearm related charges.
