Man Wanted In London Homicide Arrested In Windsor

A Toronto man wanted in connection to a 2015 homicide in London has been arrested in Windsor.

The man was identified by officers with the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad who were working in Windsor on January 26. The suspect was spotted on Ouellette Ave. and when the officers approached him he took off.

Windsor police were called to assist and with the help of the dog unit and the Emergency Services Unit, 23-year-old Ali Fageer was arrested.

Fageer is facing charges of manslaughter, armed robbery, and pointing a firearm in connection with the 2015 homicide of Mark McCullagh in London, Ontario.

He is also wanted on an outstanding warrant in Windsor for escaping lawful custody.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
