Changes Coming To Recycling, Garbage Pickup In Tecumseh

If you live in Tecumseh, south of County Rd. 22, changes are coming for your waste and recycling collection services.

The Town of Tecumseh says after discussions with Windsor Disposal Services, it has decided to shift recycling collection in Area 1 to Friday, starting on Friday, February 9.

Garbage pickup will be on Thursdays throughout the town, and recycling pickup will be on Fridays.

"We are hopeful that moving all recycling collection to Friday will allow for full focus on garbage collection [on] Thursdays and alleviate any service level issues residents have shared with us," says CAO Tony Haddad.

The 2018 collection calendar will be delivered starting the first full week of February, but residents can also view the calendar online.
