Leamington Is Getting A Starbucks

Coffee lovers in Leamington will soon be able to enjoy a cup of their Starbucks favourites without leaving town.

Municipal council approved planning applications Monday night for a 2,000 sq ft development with a drive-thru near the corner of Erie St. S and Parkdale Ave.

"We have been working for over a year on this proposed development, and it is simply fantastic to see it all come together," says Christian LeFave, president and managing partner of Brotto Family Holdings. "While this is our first project in Leamington, I hope it is not our last."

Construction is expected to start soon, and the coffee shop could open in late summer, early fall of this year.
