Federal Offender Nabbed in Windsor

A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested in Windsor.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad executed a warrant at a house on Tuscarora St. and Parent Ave. Thursday afternoon.

Tristan Henderson-Tymczak, 30, had a parole suspension warrant and another warrant for being unlawfully at large.

Windsor police had asked for the public's help last month in finding Henderson-Tymczak, who served a seven-year sentence for several weapons offences, plus robbery and robbery with a firearm. Henderson-Tymczak was known to frequent Windsor.

A nationwide warrant had been issued after the parole breach.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
