River Lions Drown Express 102-99 In OT

The Windsor Express fell 102-99 in overtime to the Niagara River Lions on Friday at the WFCU Centre.

The Express trailed the River Lions by five points at the end of the first quarter, and Niagara remained in the lead 48-46 heading into halftime.

Windsor continued to struggle behind in the third frame, and the River Lions held a 91-89 lead with three five minutes left in the fourth. However, Shaq was able to tie the game at 95-95 with just 3 seconds left on the clock.

The River Lions regained their lead in overtime to win with a three-point advantage.

The Express are on the road to battle the St. John's Edge on Tuesday at 5:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
