Home Owner Confronts Suspects In Break-In

A Windsor resident suffered a minor cut after confronting two suspects breaking into his home.

Around 2:45am Monday, the home owner on Hickory Rd. was awakened by two men kicking at the front door. He went to check out the noise and saw two people heading toward the back of the house. They forced their way through the back door and were confronted by the home owner.

One of the suspects took out a knife and the home owner was cut on the hand. The cut did not require medical attention.

The suspects took off and the homeowner called police.

The first suspect is described as a white man in his 30s with a dark complexion. He's around 5'11" tall and has a shaved head. At the time of the break and enter, he was wearing dark pants and a black hoodie.

The second suspect was also male, around 5'11" tall and was wearing dark clothing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
