Cops Bust New Driver For Alleged Stunt Driving

A 21-year-old Lakeshore man may have to wait a while before he can get his full license after the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle going 160 km/h on Hwy. 401.

It turns out the driver only has a G2 license.

The police were conducting a speed enforcement initiative when they spotted the speeding vehicle on the highway in Lakeshore around 4:30pm on January 25.

The man will be in court March 5.

His license has been suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
