Stabbing Suspect Arrested

The suspect wanted for a stabbing in late January has been arrested.

An arrest warrant for Joshua Drouillard was issued in connection with a stabbing that happened January 21, 2018.

Windsor police say two men were involved in a fight in the area of Wyandotte St. and Parent Ave. and one of the men was stabbed. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Provincial Offender Parole Enforcement Squad was called in to help with the investigation. The suspect was arrested on Lawrence Ave. on Monday. He is charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
