Express Top Edge 118-102

The Windsor Express beat the St. John's Edge 118-102 on Tuesday.

In a close first quarter, the Express scored a 33-32 lead, which they narrowly increased to a two-point lead heading into halftime.  Windsor steadied their advantage over the Edge by taking a 95-80 lead in the third.

With under two minutes left in the game, the Express had a comfortable 17-point lead, and kept St. John's at bay to earn the win.

Omar Strong led Windsor with 22 points and four rebounds. Logan Stutz put up another 20 points and had five rebounds.

The Express will take on the Edge again on Wednesday in St. John's. Tip-off is at 5:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
