Friday Express Game Cancelled

Friday's game between the Windsor Express and PEI Island Storm has been postponed due to weather.

The teams were supposed to play at the WFCU Centre on Friday. Due to the weather advisory from Environment Canada, flights from Prince Edward Island have been cancelled.

"Having to postpone games was an absolute last resort, but the safety of our players is paramount to us and we didn't feel that it was wise to take any unnecessary risks," said Audley Stephenson, deputy commissioner of the National Basketball League of Canada.

The game has been rescheduled for Monday, March 14 at 7pm. Tickets for Friday's game will be honoured on the make-up date.

Saturday’s game against the Niagara River Lions will proceed as scheduled.
