Second G2 Driver Nabbed Stunt Driving

The Ontario Provincial Police have charged a second new driver in as many weeks with stunt driving on Hwy. 401.

A 21-year-old Lakeshore man faces charges after officers clocked his vehicle going 160 km/h on the highway back on January 25.  Now, a 21-year-old Windsor man is charged with going 150 km/h in the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 east of Manning Rd.

That was last Friday morning.

His vehicle has been impounded, and his license is suspended.

The suspect, who has a G2 license, will also appear in a Windsor court on March 12 on a charge of racing a motor vehicle.
