Arrest Made In Jewellery Store Robbery

Windsor police have arrested and charged a suspect in a jewellery store robbery.

On Monday, February 5, a man entered a jewellery store on Tecumseh Rd. near Rivard, jumped the counter and took off with some jewellery.

Police were able to identify the suspect and he was arrested in the area of Tecumseh Rd. and Pillette Rd. on Friday.

The 31-year-old from Windsor is charged with robbery.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
