UPDATE: Body Found In Windsor

The Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating after the body of a man was found in the west end of the city.

Sergeant Steve Betteridge says police got a call just after 7am Wednesday about a man lying down in an alley on Church St. between Caroline St. and Newbury St.

He says the investigation is in its initial stages, but police are calling it a "sudden death".

Police were canvassing the area and going door to door looking for witnesses Wednesday morning.  The entire corner of Church St. and Caroline St. was cordoned off with police tape while officers were at the scene.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
