OPP Handles Weapons Call In Lakeshore

A section of Myers Rd in Lakeshore is open again following a police investigation.

Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to a weapons call around 12:30pm Thursday on Myers Rd near Hwy. 401.

Few details were released, but OPP Constable Jim Root says the situation was resolved after approximately three hours.

Myers Rd. was closed during that period while the investigation continued.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
