Good Samaritan Gets Driver Arrested

A Windsor man has been arrested after another driver complained about a vehicle driving erratically in Lakeshore.

The OPP says an alert motorist called police to report a vehicle leaving the road, and narrowly missing a mailbox and a guardrail on Manning Rd. near Hwy. 401 on February 15 at around 2:45am.

Police later stopped the car and say the driver showed signs of impairment.

A 23-year-old Windsor man is now charged with impaired driving. His driver's licence has been suspended and his vehicle has been impounded.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
