UPDATE: Lakeshore Sanitary Sewer Back To Normal

The Town of Lakeshore says the sanitary sewers are again operating at normal levels, after recent rain and snowmelt caused the sewer system to run at capacity.

The systems from West Puce Rd. east to Rourke Line and from Lake St. Clair to the County Rd. 22 corridor and neighbouring side streets were reportedly at capacity Wednesday afternoon.

The town says the sewer systems were back to normal as of around 9pm.

The town says all residents are now able to do laundry, run dishwashers, take showers and flush the toilet as normal.
