Express Derail Titans 112-109

The Windsor Express beat the KW Titans 112-109 on Friday.

The Express were down by six points at the end of the first quarter, but Windsor switched it around to take a 53-47 advantage at halftime.  The Express expanded their lead to 86-77 over the Titans in the third, and remained ahead in the final frame to win with a three-point advantage.

Maurice Jones led Windsor with 17 points and three rebounds, while Logan Stutz and Kevin Loiselle both put up 15.

The Express will battle the Titans again on Saturday in Kitchener at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
