OPP Blame Alleged Drunk Driver For Hwy. 3 Crash

The Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 59-year-old LaSalle man after a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 3.

The crash, back on February 21, was beneath the EC Row Exwy. overpass.

A minivan and a pickup truck collided, and when officers arrived, they say the driver of the pickup truck appeared impaired.

The suspect will appear in a Windsor courtroom on March 13 to face charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with a blood-alcohol level over 80 mg.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
