Police Identify Woman Pulled From River

Windsor police have identified the woman pulled from the Detroit River last week.

They say foul play is not suspected in her death.

The woman in her 50s was pulled from the water on February 20, 2018 after police rescued a man from the river. He was transported to hospital for assessment.

Police have not released the name of the deceased.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
