Windsor Police Nab Suspect In B&E

A Windsor man is facing a number of fraud and break and enter charges after an investigation by Windsor police.

Police were called to a residence on Cameron Ave. on February 23 after a break and enter. A number of items were taken from the home, including debit cards and credit cards.

The cards were later used at a number of different locations.

Police were able to positively identify a suspect. The 59-year-old man was arrested Monday in the area of Victoria Ave. and Wyandotte St. W.

The man is facing charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property, fraud under $5,000, unauthorized use of a credit card, and possessing and using a credit card obtained by an offence.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
