OPP Investigating Serious Collision

The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a serious collision in Lakeshore that sent one person to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The two-vehicle accident happened on County Rd. 42 between Lakeshore Rd. 105 and Wallace Line around 9:50pm Thursday night.

The road was closed to traffic for the technical collision investigators to complete their analysis of the scene but has since reopened.

One of the drivers was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, the other was uninjured.

The investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
