Express Top Riptide 121-108

The Windsor Express earned a 121-108 victory over the St. John Riptide on Friday.

The Express took a 28-27 advantage in the first quarter and extended their lead to 58-47 heading into halftime.  Windsor remained ahead by eight points in the third frame, and the Riptide weren't able to catch up in the fourth with the Express winning with a 13-point advantage.

Maurice Jones led Windsor with 25 points and four rebounds, while Logan Stutz added another 22 points and six rebounds. Braylon Rayson also put up 19 points and had two rebounds.

The Express are at home again on Saturday to battle the St. John's Edge at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
