Express Washed Away By River Lions 103-95

The Windsor Express fell 103-95 to the Niagara River Lions in NBLC action on Thursday.

At the end of the first quarter, Windsor trailed Niagara by four points, but the Express were able to secure a 48-46 lead as the game went into halftime. The River Lions retook a 78-72 lead in the third and were able to keep Windsor at bay in the final frame to win with an eight-point advantage.

Maurice Jones scored a game-high 28 points for Windsor and had seven rebounds. Shaquille Keith added another 17 points and four rebounds.

The Express take on the KW Titans in their final regular season game on Saturday at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
