Intoxicated Woman Removed From Bus

A Windsor woman has been released by police unconditionally after allegedly causing a disturbance on a bus on Hwy 401.

The tour bus driver pulled over near County Rd. 27 on April 30 in Lakeshore and called the police. He reported that the 58-year-old woman was yelling and swearing at other passengers.

The Ontario Provincial Police arrived and arrested the woman. She has not been charged.

Her name has not been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
