Police Search For Suspects After Watson Ave Home Invasion

Windsor police are looking for two suspects after a violent home invasion in the city's east end.

Two men were home on Watson Ave. near Riverside Dr. E around 4am, Wednesday when two suspects dressed in black, wearing masks, and carrying weapons forced their way into the house.

One of the weapons is believed to have been a firearm, but police have not been able to find it.

The suspects had a physical confrontation with one of the occupants before the two fled on foot.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the second man in the home at the time was not hurt.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
