Windsor Man Concerned Over Stolen Handguns

Windsor police are looking for some stolen handguns.

Police say a man called them early Thursday morning about several handguns stolen from his home near Grand Marais Rd. E. and Bernard Rd. He says the legal firearms were stored in a safe but Thursday morning he noticed the safe was unlocked and a number of handguns were missing.

He believes someone known to him who was over recently took them because there is no evidence of a break and enter or forced entry into the safe.

The investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
