UPDATE: Cyclist In Serious Condition After Crash

Police in Windsor are now asking for anyone who saw a serious accident Sunday morning on College Ave. near Elm Ave. to come forward.

A male cyclist in his 70s is in serious condition in the hospital after he was hit by a transport truck in the eastbound lanes around 11am.  Several people came to his aid.

Police cordoned off the area yesterday so the Windsor Police Accident Reconstruction Unit could investigate.

So far, no charges have been laid.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
