Windsor Police are trying to determine what led up to a brief weekend standoff.
Police say they received a "trouble unknown" call shortly before 2pm Saturday at a house on Bloomfield Rd. at Brock St. in Windsor's Sandwich Towne neighbourhood.
Multiple officers arrived and determined that there was a man in the house with a weapon, threatening people.
Following a standoff that lasted only a few minutes, police were able to enter the house and resolve the situation.
A man was treated in hospital for head injuries.
Police say they are still investigating.
