Cassidy Starts Journey As New President Of Unifor Local 444

Unifor Local 444 has a new president.

Dave Cassidy was acclaimed president late Tuesday afternoon when nominations closed. He's been secretary/treasurer for the last nine years.

As well, James Stewart has now been acclaimed secretary/treasurer, after serving as president since August 1 when Dino Chiodo left to become Unifor's new national auto director, out of the Windsor regional office.

Manny Cardoso has been acclaimed first vice president and Doug Boughner has been acclaimed third vice president.

There will be an election for second vice president on May 22 and 23.
