UPDATE: Firefighters Extinguish Industrial Blaze

Damage is pegged at $60,000 after a fire broke out at an industrial plant on Central Ave. in Windsor.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service reported the blaze at around 6:30pm on Tuesday at ANM Industries, located at 2500 Central Ave.  The fire was reported out shortly after.

The building was evacuated as a result of the fire and production was stopped until an investigation was complete.

Fire officials say an investigator has attended the scene and determined that the fire was caused by machine failure, and was isolated to the machine.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
