Youth Hospitalized After Jumping From Moving Vehicle

Police are investigating after a youth jumped from a moving vehicle in Kingsville and was rushed to the hospital.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Tuesday around 4pm, the youth, whose age and gender have not been released, jumped from the vehicle while it was travelling along Main St. E.

The youth was taken to hospital by EMS to be treated for serious injuries.

The intersection of Main St. E and Jasperson Dr. was closed for around 90 minutes but has since been reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
