Ford is set to make the announcement at 11am at 2840 Lakeshore Rd. 235.
Over the noon hour, Ford will stop by Colasantis Tropical Gardens for a meet and greet, before heading to Chatham Wednesday night for a rally.
It is Ford's first visit to Essex County since his campaign began.
The provincial election is June 7.
