Going To See The Jays At Comerica Park Or the Grand Prix? Plan Ahead

Transit Windsor expects its Tunnel Bus to be packed the weekend of June 1-3, so it is asking riders to plan ahead.

That is the weekend the Toronto Blue Jays play the Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit. Over on Belle Isle, the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix is expected to attract thousands of people too.

Transit Windsor says riders can buy their tickets for the bus on the day of those events, but the wait at the Windsor International Transit Terminal may be longer than expected. It suggests buying tickets ahead of time instead.

The Special Events bus starts running 2 1/2 hrs before game time at Comerica Park.

There is a list of places that sell bus tickets online. You can also call Transit Windsor at 519-944-4111.
