Suspect Linked To Six Robberies

Windsor police have arrested a 20-year-old Windsor man suspected of holding up six convenience stores.

They say a masked man armed with a knife robbed a store on Lauzon Rd. just south of Tecumseh Rd. around 4am on Saturday.

A suspect was arrested Tuesday afternoon on Lauzon Rd. just south of Tecumseh Rd. and investigators allege he is responsible for five other convenience store robberies.

Police say all six robberies were carried out in a similar manner in the same area between September and May.

They say many tips from the public were received. Police are thanking the community for those tips.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
