Windsorites Charged After Border Guards Intercept Drugs

Canada Border Services Agency officials in Fort Erie say they have arrested a man and a woman from Windsor after finding what they believe to be cocaine and marijuana in their vehicle.

The pair were stopped at the Peace Bridge after making a wrong turn on May 13.

Then, border officials realized there was an outstanding arrest warrant for the woman.

When they sent the pair to secondary inspection, they found 208 g of suspected cocaine and 495 g of marijuana in their vehicle.

Now the 21-year-old woman and 27-year-old man have court dates at the St. Catharines' courthouse.
