Tecumseh Will Be Hounding Dog Owners To Get Their Licences

Commissionaires in Tecumseh will be going door-to-door over the next month to ensure that all dog owners have registered their pets.

The campaign runs from Tuesday, May 29 to June 30.

Town officials say the Commissionaires will be wearing an identifiable uniform and have identification.

Dog owners will be asked to complete an application and pay the $35 fee.

The application is available online.

A person who is found guilty of violating the dog licencing bylaw will be fined.
