Police Search For Church Burglar

Several break and enters at churches in Central Windsor are under investigation.

Police say they happened from May 29 to June 3 and occurred overnight at churches mainly along Tecumseh Rd. between Pillette Rd. and Parent Ave., including one on Grand Marais Rd. just east of Howard Ave.

Investigators says the suspect was confronted inside the church during two of the break-ins but fled the scene both times.

He is described as a white man, 20-25 years old, 5'6"-5'9", with brown hair and tattoos.

Police are asking the public to be alert and report any suspicious activity around churches.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
