Murder In Windsor Under Investigation

Windsor police are investigating a murder.

They say officers found a dead woman at an apartment building at University Ave. W and McKay Ave. on Sunday at 10pm. Police say an investigation was launched and the death was deemed to be suspicious.

An autopsy was done on Monday and investigators determined it was a homicide.

The victim has been identified as a 31-year-old Windsor woman.

Investigators have interviewed several witnesses and it is believed that the victim was at home on Saturday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
